1995 — Founded
Ratson established as an indigenous non-profit responding to local community needs in Ethiopia.
2000 — First program expansion
Program areas widened to include education, WASH, women and youth empowerment, and child rights advocacy.
2010 — Multi-region reach
Operations extended across Amhara, Oromia, Sidama, SNNP, and Addis Ababa regions.
2019 — Legal re-registration
Granted legal personality as a local organization under registration number 0070 on July 31, 2019.
2025 — 30 years of impact
Ratson celebrates three decades of community-centered development, reaching over 25,000 children and families.
