Ratson Marks 30 Years of Community-Centered Development
Since 1995, Ratson has grown from a local initiative into a multi-region organization advancing the rights and dignity of children, youth, and women across Ethiopia.
For three decades, Ratson: Women, Youth, and Children Development Program has worked alongside communities across Ethiopia to advance child rights, empower women and youth, and promote inclusive education. From its establishment in 1995 to legal re-registration in 2019, Ratson has grown into a multi-region organization active across Amhara, Oromia, Sidama, SNNP, and Addis Ababa. As it marks 30 years, the organization remains committed to community-led solutions rooted in dignity.
